Founded by Jo’El, whose journey into Rescue started with the fostering of and subsequent adoption of her Soul Dog, Luna, illuminated the challenges of rescue work, our organization was born from a fortuitous encounter at Drowned Valley Brewing. Jo’El , who is known for often bringing foster puppies to various dog-friendly local spots, met Samantha, who was grieving the loss of her beloved Bogey. This conversation ignited a friendship rooted in their mutual love for four-legged companions.

Our Rescue, which is led by a board of five remarkable women, infuses every rescue mission with sass, humor, and heartfelt dedication. We celebrate both the significant milestones and the smaller victories, approaching challenges with resilience and care.
