At Bogey’s Buddies, we believe that rescue is a community effort — and it’s our volunteers who make the impossible possible. Whether it’s walking a nervous pup, cleaning up, transporting an animal to safety, or simply showing up with a warm heart and a willing hand, you become part of the story that changes everything for them.
What Volunteering Looks Like:
Volunteering with us isn’t always glamorous. Sometimes it’s messy. Sometimes it’s emotional. But it’s always meaningful.
You might get drooled on.
You might scoop poop.
You’ll almost definitely fall in love.
And you’ll leave every shift knowing you mattered.
Whether you’ve got an hour a week or a few afternoons a month, there’s a role for you here. No prior experience? No problem — we’ll train you. The only must-haves are compassion, patience, and a sense of humor (seriously, our animals are comedians).
Roles We Need Help With:
Dog Walkers – Fresh air, wiggly butts, and gratitude in every glance.
Cat Cuddlers – For our shy, sleepy, or sassy feline friends.
- Driving the P.A.W. (no CDL needed)
Transport Volunteers – Help get animals from point A to point B safely.
Event Helpers – Lend a hand at adoption events, fundraisers, and festivals.
Behind-the-Scenes Heroes – Admin support (marketing, fundraising, event coordinator, email marketing), photography, laundry, you name it.
Why It Matters:
Every leash clipped on, every litter box cleaned, every hour spent in the company of a rescue animal chips away at fear, loneliness, and uncertainty — and replaces it with love, safety, and trust. Because of volunteers like you, animals who had nothing now have a future.
You don’t need a cape to be a hero — just show up.
