It’s a state-of-the-art mobile adoption center, a safe haven for our most vulnerable animals, and a lifeline for our community’s pets and people in need.
Converted from a school bus, the P.A.W. is fully equipped with everything our animals need to be comfortable and safe at our adoption events. With its own water supply, heating, and air conditioning, it provides a climate-controlled, quiet environment where potential adopters can meet their new best friend.
The bus offers a secure and peaceful space for our cats and kittens, away from the noise and stress of a busy event. This allows their true personalities to shine and helps potential adopters see them at their best.
The P.A.W. provides a confidential area for our adoption coordinators to speak with potential adopters, review applications, and ensure we're making the perfect match between pets and families.
Equipped with heating and air conditioning, the P.A.W. keeps our animals comfortable year-round, whether it's a hot summer adoption event or a freezing winter night at a warming shelter.

What makes the P.A.W. truly unique is its mission beyond adoptions. During the harsh winter months, the P.A.W. transforms into a mobile warming shelter for one of our community’s most vulnerable populations: homeless individuals and their beloved pets.
We recognized a critical need: many homeless individuals would refuse to seek shelter from the life-threatening cold if it meant leaving their animal companions behind. For them, their pet is family, a source of comfort, and their only constant. No one should have to make that impossible choice.
In partnership with local warming shelters, the P.A.W. parks outside, offering a safe, heated space for pets to stay while their owners are warm and safe inside. This simple act of compassion keeps families together and saves both human and animal lives.
